Nano's ORV architecture and Hedera's Hashgraph can be understood independently of currency as a distributed mechanism for establishing agreement over state transitions. Nodes maintain local copies of system state, while delegated Ӿ representatives provide weighted validation. Rather than requiring a centralized authority or requiring every node to participate equally in every decision, consensus authority is distributed according to Ӿ representative voting weight.
